Academic Programs in Yoga Philosophy and Meditation

The Yoga Philosophy and Meditation Program provides an in-depth study of the science and philosophy of Yoga, and other systems of meditation. Emphasis is placed on understanding the psychological and scientific approaches behind the Yoga Sutras, Samkhya, and the Vedantic and Upanishadic streams of thought.

This program provides training for advanced students and verifies participants as highly qualified teachers of Yoga. In addition to successfully completing the series of Yoga courses and mastering Asanas, the student engages in the study of the principles and practices of meditation, the Yoga Sutras, Pranayama practices, Yoga Nidra, various other Yoga techniques and meditation. Shat Karmas are introduced and several are practiced. Students are required to prepare lesson plans and critically review lesson plans of their classmates, discuss and lead practical classes as a part of their training

Pre-requisite : Bachelor's Degree or few credits from partially completed bachelor's courses or few credits from Yoga Teacher's training courses. For your previous courses, submit the details, our admission coordinator shall inform you how many more credits will be required to complete Master's Degree.
